AFPI offers the opportunity to save for retirement with 401(k) plans through Empower Retirement Services. There is a pre-tax 401(K) plan and a post-tax Roth retirement plan.
Employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(K) plan on the first day of the month following hire date. Enroll on the Empower Retirement Services website at: empowermyretirement.com. For first time access: Log on and select "Register", choose the "I do not have a PIN" tab. Follow the prompts to create your username and password.
*Please note for employees hired on September 1, you will be able to register in the Empower account on October 2.
Once you are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan, there is no deadline to enroll. Please note, employees will not be auto-enrolled in the 401(k) plan
