For your convenience, we have streamlined your online experience by moving to a new sign-in system that will now allow you use the same login information across three sites: FellowsCentral, Science, and AAAS MemberCentral.

You will need your AAAS Username email to login into the site. If you do not remember your username, please send us a support ticket to retrieve this for you.

In order to login to the new FellowsCentral, you must first activate a AAAS Identity Account. You will be prompted to do so the first time you login. If this is your first time logging in, please follow the steps in this solution. If you've already activated your account with FellowsCentral, read on.

FellowsCentral: https://www.aaaspolicyfellowships.org/

  1. FAQ-login.jpgClick Login. Click the orange Login button in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. From there you will be sent to the AAAS Identity Provider Login site.
  2. Enter your AAAS ID and Password.
  3. You will be routed back to FellowsCentral.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIP #1: If you see an Access Denied page immediately after logging in, please refresh the page. Occasionally the cookie that is passed between the AAAS login and FellowsCentral gets confused (for lack of a better word) and the browser needs to refresh to acknowledge your login.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIP #2: If you get a red message that says "An error has occurred. Please contact the site administrator" this could mean one of two things. 1) That you need to clear your browser cache/cookies or 2) That we have incorrect login information for you in our database. Our website is comparing your login information from AAAS with our database. If the data doesn't align, you will see that error message.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIP #3: If you enter your AAAS ID and password and get routed back to the FellowsCentral homepage but are still not logged in, or you click on the “login” button and the page appears to refresh instead of sending you to the AAAS Identity Provider Login site, it is likely a problem of an old cookie tricking the site into thinking you are already logged in. The primary fix for this is to clear the cookies from your web browser. This is typically found within your web browser's settings or options under “privacy and security.”  A secondary fix is to try using a different web browser.
